How does Labour Protect provide services to its Current Members throughout South Africa?

Labour Protect is NOT a firm of Attorneys or Labour Experts but rather a network of labour law specialists who service the Current Members of Labour Protect for a fee per matter.  This fee is paid by Labour Protect ... approximately R400.00 per hour ...subject to the Membership Rules.

We look to practicing labour experts/ attorneys, with knowledge and experience, to provide assistance to our Current Members located throughout South Africa.

What are the benefits of joining the Labour Protect network?

Benefits for Attorneys/ Experts joining the network:

1. NON MEMBERS: Labour Protect has a national telephone number linking the various regions throughout South Africa.  (0860 522687/ 0860 LABOUR).  All individuals calling from your area are automatically routed to your offices.  This is a FREE  facility provided by Labour Protect to the Expert and can result in a flow of constant work to your offices.  Please note that those linked to the 0860 number are not required to provide any free assistance to any caller.  If legal matters arise that can be pursued, it is up to the Expert and the individual to negotiate a fee.  Labour Protect does not charge for this facility at present.  (Please note that linking to the national telephone number is at the sole election of the management of Labour Protect and will be limited to one main Expert in each area.) >>  Check to see if there are already participating attorneys or labour experts in your area.

2. CURRENT MEMBERS:  If a Current Member of Labour Protect contacts the Expert's office for Benefits in terms of the Membership Rules, Labour Protect should be approached to confirm the mandate.  Labour Protect will then, according to its written confirmation with the Expert, be liable for costs incurred.  (usually R400.00 per hour)

Cost

At present there is no registration or monthly fee payable by the Labour Expert to be part of the network.
